أَبا حاضِرٍ قَنَّعتَ عاراً وَخِزيَةً

أُسَيِّدَ ما أَرسى حَراءٌ وَيَذبُلُ

O my father, present and satisfied, dishonor and humiliation

Have become masters of all Harra planted and grown

وَقَبلَكَ ما أَخزى تَميماً أُسَيِّدٌ

وَقَنَّعَهُم ما لَيسَ عَنهُم يُحَوَّلُ

And before you Tamim was not disgraced by Usayyid

Who sufficed them with what cannot be diverted from them
