With disheveled hair its locks have coiled

Like a frightened ostrich chased by hunters

It refuses to spend out of miserliness

After squandering between sorrow and sands

With them we repel the worries of every repentant man

And you see for it folds in every expanse

I have built houses in glory

    Not desiring to demolish them

And my father who welcomed the dogs by naming them

While the horses underneath their armors clanked

Their anklets clinking as they walked

Piling up the valley with their cargo

Their necklaces clamor as they head to battle

The war party returns with abundant spoils

Their mounts slowed by the fodder they consumed

Walking like toddlers learning to crawl

So when they panic at a battlecry

And sprint between lowlands and summits

Shaking the bridles of resolute steeds

Like the trunks of Khaybar or the trunks of Awl

Birds hastily taking flight with stupidity

Meeting the cold and crushed by the north wind

Their bridles caught in a tangled acacia

    With tall, slender trunks

    Their grim faces overwhelming us

On the day of the meeting of heroes

Grazing the meadows around us when they set out

    Their trotting enlivening waterfalls

    The day Aamir advanced

    Before the kindled riding beasts

And you see their tether ropes flutter as they gallop

Like the flocking of doves to their nests
