With my spirit from the one who parted from me and turned away
He has an eye that taught me sleeplessness
Whenever I look upon his face
I see a moon upon each cheek
A gazelle of intimacy that has confused me
And he did not refrain from his deed nor apologized
So I said to him, enough o oppressor
Do you not know what has happened
So he said, and in his eyelid is a wink
And on his upper lip the trace of mockery
If I do not know everything
Then I know half the matter from that
In my liver there is a sickness from his aloofness
That my doctor saw as dangerous
An angel, and is there any doubt after that
That the heart of an angel is stone
