When I saw the roses on your cheeks,
When I saw the roses in your cheeks,
And the daisies on your lips,
And the red anemones upon your lips,
And dewdrops like pearls upon your brow,
And upon your brow, the likeness of dew drops,
And narcissus flowers in your eyes,
And the drowsy narcissus in your eyes,
I inhaled the fragrant scent from your breast,
And I inhaled a fragrant incense from your tresses,
As your palms caressed your chest,
When your palms wandered through your locks,
And saw your head adorned with blossoms,
And I saw your head crowned with daisies,
While tulips wrapped around your breasts,
And bouquets of jasmine upon your bosom,
And heard the whispers of the morning breeze,
And I heard the whisper of the gentle breeze around you,
Rustling by your shoulders at dawn,
At dawn, swaying your shoulders softly,
I knew you were an alluring garden,
I became certain that you are a captivating paradise,
And I inclined to you in my old age,
So I yearned for you, even after my hair turned gray,
Thus I made my heart into a bee,
And for that, I have transformed my heart into a bee,
O my garden, hovering over you,
O my paradise, that it might hover over you,
My soul is your ransom, if it were not
My soul is your ransom; for were it not
In your care, it would fall at your feet.
Held in your palms, it would have fallen at your feet.
