Is death less than what I endure

Though with you all troubles I can weather

Passion melts me, its heat intense

While water freezes hard and dense

    Thirsty till senseless I remain

The springs overflow with my tears of pain

Do you think I’d complain or feel blame

When my hands can grab all that I claim

I’d not deny the grace of the greatest king

Whose hands adorn the necks of kings with rings
