When you are in the bath house

Be quick to take the scraping-blade and robe

For this drives away the gnats when they buzz

And that protects you from the inclemency of winter

And take along firewood and a pot

So you can be diligent in heating water

Do not expose yourself there, beware

Of chills from the cold air

And if I were to invoke against my enemy

The harshest of invocations

This bath house would be the utmost

Limit of what I proposed for affliction
