إِنَّ القَليلَ الَّذي يَأتيكَ في دَعَةٍ

هُوَ الكَثيرُ فَأَعفِ النَفسَ مِن تَعَبِ

The little that comes to you in leisure

Is much, so spare the soul from toil.

لا قَسمَ أَوفَرُ مِن قَسَمٍ تَنالُ بِهِ

وِقايَةَ الدينِ وَالأَعراضِ وَالحَسَبِ

There is no portion more abundant than one

That protects religion, honor, and nobility.
