اِستَوصِ خَيراً بِهِ فَإِنَّ لَهُ

عِندي يَداً لا أَزالُ أَحمَدُها

Command goodness to him, for he has

with me a hand that I do not cease praising,

يَدُلُّ ضَيفي عَلَيَّ في غَسَقِ ال

لَيلِ إِذا النارُ نامَ مَوقِدوها

which guides my guest to me in the darkness of

the night when the fire has died down in its hearth.
