لك العلياء والشرف المفدى
وسعدك بالهناء لقد تبدّى
You have the glory and prized honor
And your happiness with praise has appeared
وجمعت المحاسن فيك طرّا
وفقت على الورى حزما ورشدا
You have gathered beauty within you, flying high
Guided to wisdom and righteousness over all people
وضاءت منك أنوار المعالي
فنلت بها من الآمال قصدا
Lights of glory shine from you
Attaining thereby hopes and aims
وحسبك يا سليل المجد نصر
بأنعام إلى علياك يهدي
It is enough for you, scion of glory, victory
That the Most High bestows bounty upon your sublime state
وما من ماجد إلّا ويهدي
إلى أوصافك الغراء مجدا
And there is no glorious one who does not bestow
Upon your splendid qualities glory
تهنّى في مقامك يا شهاباً
تعالى في سما الاقبال سعدا
You are congratulated in your standing, O shining star
Exalted in the sky of rising fortunes, happily
ملكن الفخر في خلق كريم
فلم تترك لغيرك قطّ حمدا
You have ruled supreme glory among noble souls
Leaving no praise for others ever
وقد دانت لك العياء حبا
فلم تجنح لغير علاك عمدا
Sublimity has willingly bowed to you
Never inclining for others intentionally
وفياض المكارم منك يهمي
فلم يك في الأنام سواك رفدا
The overflowing generosity pours from you
None among all people has been like you, enriching
وقد سقيت بكفك كل أرض
لذاك ترى الكرام إليك وفدا
By your palm you have watered every land
Therefore you see the generous ever coming to you
وقد مالت ولاة الأمر طرّا
تجدد بالصلات إليك عهدا
The governors have inclined completely
Renewing by prayers their covenant to you
حباك الله قدرا قد تسامي
فكنت برتبة العلياء فردا
God has loved your destiny, so lofty
You have been peerless in the most high station
كأن الجود في كفيك بحر
بلا جزر نراه يفيض مدّا
As if generosity in your palms a sea
With no shores, we see it overflowing always
وقد نشر الهناء بكل قطر
مسرات بعزك لن تحدّا
And happiness has spread to every region
Gladdened by your might, never to be limited
فدم شهما هماماً ذا خلال
مآثره الزكية لن تعدّا
So shine, great-souled and of fine manners
Whose righteous exploits can never be fully counted
