    أقبل الأنس بالصفا المتداني

    Greetings, greetings to the one who brings congratulations

    Joy has arrived with intimacy and affection

  2. يا له منهلاً تدفق حسناً

    نزه الطرف بالجواري الحسانِ

    What a flowing spring of beauty

    Delighting the eyes with the lovely maidens

  3. وتعنت به السواقي ودارت

    بكؤوس الهنا على الندمانِ

    The water wheels have stopped for it

    Circling with cups of bliss for the happy one

  4. طرب الأذن صوتهنّ بلحنٍ

    فاق سجعاً على صدى العيدانِ

    Their voice delighted the ear with a melody

    Surpassing poems in eloquence over the echo of the willows

  5. يا ترى البركة العذيبة أضحت

    تتثنى كصفحة الهندواني

    Behold, the wonderful oasis seems

    To bend like an Indian sword

  6. جاد فوارها العجيب برقصٍ

    حين غنّت سباعها كالقيان

    Its strange springs flow with a dance

    As its wildlife sing like the cranes

  7. لاعباً فوق عرشه كفتاةٍ

    قد تصابت بفرط در الجمان

    Playing above its throne like a young woman

    Intoxicated by the excess of pearls

  8. أيام سلسالها به فلذا جا

    ءَ عليها يدور كالولهان

    Its days are linked, so it came

    Spinning around it like a lover

  9. هاج فواره اللجيني فيه

    ساجداً مثل ضارب بالمثاني

    Its vigorous springs raging in it

    Prostrating like one striking with spears

  10. رفصت حوله بنيّات سروٍ

    كعذارى سقين بنت الدنانِ

    Pine saplings dance around it

    Like virgins watered by the clouds

  11. ثلاث الرؤوس يهدين شوقاً

    وسلاماً لكل آتٍ ودانِ

    The three headed ones send longing

    And greetings to every coming and close one

  12. يا رعى اللَه بيت دين المعالي

    قد حكى روضها رياض الجنان

    Oh may God protect the house of glorious religion

    Its meadows have narrated the gardens of paradise

  13. أصبحت قبلة لكل جمالٍ

    وتسامت عزّاً بنيل الأماني

    It has become a destination for all beauty

    And has risen in dignity to achieve hopes

  14. قد كساها البشير ثوب فخارٍ

    صيغ من جوهرٍ بدر البنان

    The giver of good news has clothed it in a robe of pride

    Molded from the essence of the full moon

  15. خير مولى زان العلى بشهابٍ

    ضاءَ منه جبين هذا الزمان

    The best Master adorned the Most High with a flame

    From it the forehead of this age shone

  16. سيد المجد والأماجد شهمٌ

    ساد فضلاً بالحسن والإحسان

    The Master of Glory and glories is valiant

    Excelling in merit, kindness and benevolence

  17. فأدام الإله سامي علاهُ

    ما تغنت ورقٌ على أفنان

    So may God prolong its sublime height

    As long as leaves rustle over branches
