ملأ الكون بهجةً واستناره

O Rashid of eminence, O best of chiefs,

You have filled the universe with joy and illumination.

تتهنّى مدى الزمان بمجدٍ

مشرق في سما العلى أقماره

May you delight through all time in a glory

Whose moons shine in the heavens of eminence.

لك كل الأنام شرقاً وغرباً

شهدوا بالذكا وحسن الإداره

All humankind, in east and west, have

Borne witness to your intelligence and able governance.

مذ أتى يدرك الصدارة عوداً

قال كلٌّ مسرة وبشاره

When he came to assume the foremost office once again,

Everyone cried, “Joy and glad tidings!”

بالهنا والسعود والمجد أرخ

لرشيد قد عاد دور الصداره

With felicity, good fortune, and glory, set down the date:
