نهاديك يا نجل الفؤاد تهانياً

تنبيءُ عن أفراحنا حينما تبدو

I offer you congratulations, oh son of the heart

Foretelling our joy whenever you appear

بخير اقتران جاء وهو مبارك

يقارنه برٌّ ويصحبه سعد

With the blessed union that came, so propitious

Accompanied by righteousness and attended by fortune

بذات جمالٍ بالكمال مزينٌ

يهنيك منها ما يسرك والولدُ

Of perfect beauty, adorned with perfection

That which delights you, may it make you happy, and the child too

فلا زلتما طول الزمان بصحةٍ

وعيشٍ رغيد بردهُ الا من والرفدُ

For you both, throughout time, have had health

And a comfortable life of ease, though lacking only an heir

رفاف سعيدٌ والهناءُ مؤرخٌ

موافٍ لرزق اللَه بالخير ما تلدُ

Happy circumstances, and chronicled delight

Aligned with God's providence, may it bring all the good you beget
