للَّه خير جراءةٍ

تسمو بمطلعها العجيبِ

God's reward is the best

It rises with its wondrous dawn

زين الأسابرةِ الكرا

م ونزهة الشهم النجيبِ

Adorning the honored mornings

And delighting the noble souls

غراءُ صبح جبينها

يجلى بهِ ليل الكروبِ

The radiance of its morning shines

Dispelling the night's sorrows

ذهبية العينين أضحت

مقلتاها كاللهيبِ

Its golden eyes have become

Like fiery flames

فكأنما منسارها

سيفٌ من القدر المصيبِ

Its beak like a fateful sword

Striking with purpose true

فضحت بجيدٍ بارقٍ

جيد الرشا الأحوى الربيبِ

Revealing a shining neck

As graceful as a gazelle's

وبصدرها الفضيّ را

حة كل ذي قلبٍ كئيبِ

Its silvery chest comforting

Each grieving, weary heart

نسج الجمال بظهرها

ثوباً من الحسن المهيبِ

Beauty weaving on its back

A robe of splendor and awe

بدراً حكى لون السما

بنجومها عند المغيبِ

The moon describing the sky's hue

With stars at dusk's refrain

تنضي سوابق جنحها

بيض الظبا عند الوثوبِ

Its outstretched wings fluttering

White like a startled herd

وتريك كفّا أسمراً

أبهى من الكف الخضيبِ

Showing you a tanned palm

More beautiful than henna'd hands

تعدو إذا ما أرسلت

كالسهم من فوق الكثيبِ

Galloping when unleashed

Like an arrow over the dune

فتاكة فتك البشير

الماجد المولى الحسيبِ

Deadly in its killing like

The glorious victorious prophet

رب المحامد والثنا

ذي المطلع السامي الرهيبِ

Lord of praises and glory

Of lofty and marvelous aspect

فأدامه مولاه في

عزٍّ وفي سعدٍ رحيبِ

May its Lord eternally grant it

Honor and joyous favor
