أيا ظبيتي دار الصفا هجتما الهوى

وذكرتماني عهد ذات التدللِ

O my two gazelles, you deserted the abode of joy,

And reminded me of the time of tender affection,

بعيشكما حفظاً على الحب أنهُ

سياتيكما هذا الزمان بعذلِ

Swear by your life to keep love safe,

For time will come to you with separation.

إذا شيتما ان ترحماني وتسعفا

قفانبك من ذكرى حبيب ومنزلِ

If you wish to have mercy upon me and help me,

Stand by my side with the memory of a beloved and home.
