Had not he who deserted me come back to me
I would not have bothered with destiny
Dark-complexioned, with a mole,
since he pitched his tent, my afflictions have doubled
His cheek is Turkish, his mole Musky,
his face tells of my death from my sickness
He wanted my friendship and chose my distance
so my opinion is that I will die from my sickness
My sorrow has increased since you've been absent from me
for God's sake, pray for me and have mercy on my crying
Had they been fair to me they would not have left me
They would not have abandoned me to the oppression of estrangement
Oh heart, what is with you? We complain of your whims
Your mind is not at peace, you have opposed my opinion
