When they emerged from the hill,

They greeted me with five coffees,

    As if they were relatives

Who gently warmed the sun under their clothes.

They began with a delicate fragrance

And dipped into the flowing stream.

When they emerged, they surrounded her

And whispered what they whispered in whispers.

So they asked me who was in the houses,

And I said no one dwells there.

    If only prying eyes tonight

Would turn blind and not see us.

From the edge of talk they found

    Sweetness, and they left smoothly.

If they had not approached me,

O priest, I would be as hard as you.
