يا عَبدَ جَلّي كُروبي
وَأَسعِفي وَأَثيبي
O my servant, relieve my sorrows
And help me and reward me,
فَقَد تَطاوَلَ هَمّي
وَزَفرَتي وَنَحيبي
For my worries have become unbearable,
As have my sighs and my crying.
يا عَبدَ جَلّي كُروبي
