The full moon wept for you when it rose
After its death it passed by lamenting
For a beloved who spends the night in tears
The cooing of the doves makes you weep if it moans
The full moon reminded you of her face, so it rose
To God belongs the face of the beloved, a lantern
As if a lantern contained her
A journey of sweet basil and apples
