وَجَدَّت رِقابُ الوَصلِ أَسيافَ هَجرِنا

وَقَدَّت لِرجلِ البَينِ نَعلَينِ مِن خَدّي

The necks of union found the swords of our separation

And tied for the foot of separation two shoes from my cheeks
