    How many chieftains

  6. حيا لمعان

    تفترُّ عن لمعان

    Lived with brilliance

    Shedding light

  7. أدرك لجنان

    لم يشتغل بجنان

    Reaching the gardens

    Not busy with the gardens

  8. فالجسم كفان

    في طيَّتي أكفان

    So the body suffices

    In my disposition are shrouds

  9. إلحظ لمعان

    لولاك مضنى عان

    Notice the brilliance

    If not for you, I would have suffered

  10. وامنن بأمان

    ينجاب عن إيمان

    And believe in security

    Flowing from faith

  11. يسقي بورود

    طلُّ الحيا لورود

    Watering with roses

    Seeking life for the flowers

  12. في رحبك بان

    لها الجمال مباني

    In your vastness lies

    For it beauty buildings

  13. ما أنَّ غريب

    والطورُ منه غريب

    It is not a stranger

    And the mount is stranger to it

  14. فانٍ بكَ ثانٍ

    يا روحهُ عن ثاني

    So it will perish for you a second time

    Oh its soul over a second
