ضِمْنَ القُلوبِ مَفاتيحُ السَّمواتِ

فاغْنمْ قُلوباً طَوتْ تلكَ العِناياتِ

Within hearts lie the keys to the heavens;

so make your treasure of hearts that have enfolded those graces.

والزَمْ رِجالاً أقاموا في مَنابِرهمْ

سِرِّ السَّمواتِ يبدو للبَرِيَّاتِ

And cleave to men who have taken their stand upon their pulpits:

the secret of the heavens is made manifest to all creation.

وخُذْ طريقَ الهُدى عنهُمْ وكنْ معهُمْ

لِتَجتلي نورَ أطْوارِ السَّعاداتِ

Take from them the path of guidance, and remain with them,

that you may behold the light of the states of blessedness.

ففي السَّمواتِ من آثارِ همَّتِهم

رَقائِقُ كَشفتْ بُرْدَ السِّتاراتِ

For in the heavens, among the traces of their aspiration,

are subtle truths that have drawn aside the cloak of veils.

تَجلو عَبائِرُهمْ معنى بَشائرِهمْ

وفي العِباراتِ أسرارُ البِشاراتِ

Their fragrances disclose the meaning of their glad tidings,

and within their expressions lie the secrets of good tidings.
