إذا ما ذكرنا حيدراً في مهمَّةٍ

تحدَّرَ فيه الكربُ كالسيل من علي

When we call on Haydar in an ordeal

Where sorrows pour down like floods from the heights

تجلَّت بغذن الله وانقشع البلا

وجاءت لنا الغارات كالبرق من علي

With God's help the darkness disperses and lifts

And aid rushes to us swift as lightning from Ali
