أرح فؤادك من هم الوجودات

وارجع إلى اللَه عن ماضٍ وعن آت

Relieve your heart from the worries of existence

And return to God from the past and from the future

واذكره منطوباً عن كل حادثةٍ

مستجمع الصدق في محوٍ وإثبات

And remember Him melted from every event

Collecting sincerity in effacement and affirmation

ولا تكن غافلاً فالمرء غفلته

عن ربه جل من أدهى المصيبات

And do not be heedless for a person's heedlessness

From his Lord, Glorious, is the most terrible affliction

وكن أميناً لتمضي آمناً فلقد

يحارب الحق أصحاب الخيانات

And be faithful so you may pass in safety for indeed

Truth is fought by the people of treachery

وازهد بقلبك هذا الكون معتمداً

على آلهك جبار السموات

And renounce with your heart this universe, relying

Upon your God, Compeller of the heavens

وصاحب الحق لا تأخذ به بدلاً

فالحق معرج أرباب النهايات

And accompany the Truth, do not take anything instead

For the Truth is the ascent of the lords of goals

ودع أخا الزور لا تألفه فهو على

وتيرة الغدر في كل الشؤنات

And leave the brother of falsehood, do not befriend him for he is

Upon the path of betrayal in all affairs

والكاذب الخب لا تمدد إليه يداً

المكر يقطع أسباب المعونات

And do not extend a hand to the wicked liar

Deceit cuts off the means of help

وصاحب البر مأمون الشمائل في

كل الأماكن واهجر كل بهات

And accompany the righteous whose traits

Are safe in all places, and shun all nonsense

ورافق الرجل الشهم الكريم فلن

يخامر السوء أصحاب المروآت

And accompany the brave, generous man for

Evil will not dwell in the honorable

ومن زكت بشريف الأصل طينه

فخذه خلّاً ودع أهل الدَنيّات

And whoever’s noble origin has purified their clay

Take them as a confidant and leave the lowly

واعلم بأن نظام الطبع يظهر ما

في الأصل من سر آثارٍ خفيات

And know that the system of nature shows

What is in the origin of the traces of hidden secrets

مأحبب أهيل الوفاء العاملين به

كيف التوى الوقت في قيد وإفلات

Love those loyal who work by it

However time may turn in captivity and escape

وطب مع الفقراء العاملين أولي ال

خضوع فالفقر مفتاح المثوبات

And be kind to the poor workers, the foremost

In submission, for poverty is the key to rewards

ولا تصاحب أخا كبرٍ أخا دنسٍ

ملموز دينٍ ومطعون العقيدات

And do not accompany an arrogant, wicked,

Stained in religion and blemished in beliefs, brother

وخل خلك إن يدع لفادحةٍ

في الدين فالدين منصوصٌ بآيات

And leave your friend if he calls to a monstrosity

In religion, for religion is stated in verses

واتبع نبيك لا تهمل شريعته

فأنها للهدى أعلى المنصات

And follow your Prophet, do not neglect his Law

For it is the highest platform of guidance

وعامل الناس بالحسنى وكن حذراً

وعامل اللَه في إخلاصٍ نيات

And treat people with goodness and be cautious

And treat God sincerely with intentions

واستغفر اللَه من ذنبٍ وقعت به

فاللَه بالفضل ماحٍ الخطيئات

And ask God’s forgiveness from a sin you fell into

For God in His grace erases sins

وصل دهراً على الهادي وعترته

فتلك أوثق أبواب المسرات

And pray forever upon the Guide and his family

For that is the firmest door of pleasures

وواصل الذكر في سرٍّ وفي علنٍ

فالذكر ينجيك من كل المضرات

And continue remembrance secretly and openly

For remembrance saves you from all harm

واصدق لربك واستمسك بعروته

وفازع لعلياه في وقت المهمات

And be truthful to your Lord and hold fast to His handhold

And struggle to His lofty realm in times of ordeals

ورح أميناً ففي الصدق الكريم طوى

شريف أسرار إحسان جليات

And pass in safety for in sincere generosity lies

The noble secret of the grace of clear bounties
