رأيْتُ بِبَحْرِ الغَيبِ جَيْشاً عَرَمْرَماً

ويَتْبَعُهُ بالشَّكْلِ بَحرُ خَميسِ

I saw in the sea of the unseen a speckled army

And following it in form was a pentameter sea

تَقَدَّمُهُ فَرْدٌ فَقيلَ عَرَفْتَهُ

فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ هذا أخي وجَليسي

Leading it was an individual, so it was said "Do you recognize him?"

I said "Yes, this is my brother and friend"
