وَحْيُ السَّماءِ مُنَزَّلٌ ببُيوتِنا

وحَقائقُ الآياتِ عنَّا تُنقَلُ

Revelation from heaven descended upon our homes

And facts of verses were conveyed to us

ولقدْ وَرِثْنا المُرْسَلينَ بعلمِهِمْ

ولنا من الغيبِ المُقَدَّسِ مَنهَلُ

We inherited the sent messengers through their knowledge

And we have a sacred, mysterious source

كَفَلَتْ حُجورُ الأَوصِياءِ صِغارَنا

وكِبارُنا مِنها النَّوائِبُ تَذهَلُ

The chests of the successors reared our young

While our elders through them bewilderment evades

وإذا تَجَلْجَلَتِ الشُّؤُنُ فإنَّنا

في الأَوْلِياءِ لنا الطِّرازُ الأوَّلُ

And if affairs were turbulent, we

In the saints for us is the finest example

عنَّا رِواياتُ الأُصولِ صَحيحُةٌ

ورِحابُنا يومَ المَخاوِفِ مَوْثِلُ

To us, narrations of foundations are valid

And our horizons on days of fears are capacious

هذا أَبو العَلَمَيْنِ أَحمدُ جَدُّنا

فحلٌ له في القومِ باعٌ أَطْوَلُ

This is Abu Al Alameen Ahmad our grandfather

A stallion to his people with the longest presence

سِرُّ الوَلايَةِ من جنابِ المُرْتَضى

أَبداً بِنا بوِراثَةٍ يتَسَلْسَلِ

The secret of devotion from Al-Murtada’s side

Through inheritance perpetually funnels

ما عُدَّ في عصرٍ رِجالُ زَمانِهِ

إِلاَّ ومِنَّا الأَلْمَعِيُّ الأَفضَلُ

No men of their time have been counted

Except from us the most resplendent of all

نحن شُموسُ القومِ في حَضَراتِها

لَمَّاعَةً أمَدَ المَدى لا تَأْفَلُ

We are the people’s suns in their gatherings

Radiant unending, never setting

إنْ راحَ منَّا سيِّدٌ جاءَ ابنُهُ

والحالُ مَوْصولٌ به لا يُفْصَلُ

If one of our masters passed, his son comes

And the case is connected, no disconnect

ذُرِّيَّةٌ من بعضِها بعضٌ بَدا

بشُؤُنِ أَوَّلِها يَميسُ ويَرْفُلُ

A lineage in which some from others emerged

With the affairs of its first, munificent and lavish

قلْ للحَسودِ اقْعُدْ فإنَّكَ قاصِرٌ

ولنَحْنُ طَوْراً فوقَ ما تَتَخَيَّلُ

Say to the envious, “Sit for you have fallen short”

While we for some time are above your imagination

ستَرى لنا منَّا بُدورَ حَقائقٍ

ببُروجِ أَفلاكِ العُلى تتجوَّلُ

You will see from us houses of truths

Circling the stars of highest ascension

فلنحنُ أُسْدُ الغابِ في عَتَباتِنا

ربَّاضَةٌ عن خَشْيَةٍ تتَمَلْمَلُ

For we are the lions of the forest in our thresholds

Valiant, devoid of any trepidation

ولنا الخَوارِقُ والحَقائِقُ سِيمَةٌ

فيها حَديثُ المَكْرُماتِ مسلسَلُ

To us belong the extraordinary and the truths, a sign

In which the hadith of honors is seamless

ما جاءَ منَّا في المَدارِجِ آخِرٌ

إِلاَّ لهُ فوقَ المَعارِجِ أَوَّلُ

None from us in spiritual ranks is last

Except for him above the ranks is the foremost

بَطَلَتْ عَزائِمُ أُمَّةٍ قد شابَهَتْ

أَطْوارَنا وشؤونُنا لا تبطُلُ

Determination of a nation has expired that mimicked

Our phases and conditions never expire

نحن الضِّراعُ إذا تَهاجَمَ حادِثٌ

بأُصُولِنا يتوسَّلُ المُتَوَسِّلُ

We are the plea when misfortune encroaches

Through our principles the imploring supplicates

وإذا دَعا الباري بنا وبأَهلِنا

ذو نِيَّةٍ صافي السَّريرَةِ يُقْبَلُ

And if The Creator calls us and our families

One of pure intention and untainted soul is accepted

قدْ فاضَ في أَهلِ الحَقائِقِ بحرُنا

فبكلِّ قلبٍ سالَ منهُ جدوَلُ

Our sea in the people of truths has overflowed

So in each heart a stream from it meandered

وإذا الجِبالُ تحوَّلَتْ عن أَرضِها

عن شأْنِنا في اللهِ لا نتحوَّلُ

And if mountains from their spots were removed

From our affair through God we never divert

ما نظَّمَ التَّعْدادَ في أَنسابِنا

إِلاَّ وَليٌّ أو نبيٌّ مُرْسَلُ

None arranged the counting in our lineages

Except a saint or a prophet that was sent

في العَصْرِ منَّا سادَةٌ أحوالُهُمْ

بسُمُوِّها يتمثَّلُ المُتَمَثِّلُ

In this time from us are masters whose states

In their sublimity the admirer exemplifies

القُطْبُ إبراهيمُ من أَفرادِهِمْ

والفَحْلُ عبد اللهِ وهو الأَكمَلُ

Ibrahim the Pole is unique amongst them

And Abdullah the stallion is the most perfect

وأَبو المَفاخِرِ هاشِمٌ وألْحِقْ به

زيداً ويَعْقوباً وعَدُّكَ يشمَلُ

And Abu Al Mafakhir Hashim, and attach to him

Zayd, Ya’qub, and your counting embraces

أفرادُ قومٍ في العِراقِ عهِدَتُهُمْ

شوسٌ بهِمَّتِهِمْ يُحَلُّ المُشْكِلُ

Outstanding men in Iraq whose covenant

Ambitious through their resolve the problems solves

ولنا بأَرضِ الشَّامِ أيُّ عِصابَةٍ

شَمْخاءَ عنها يقصُرُ المُتَطَوِّلُ

And in the land of Damascus what a band we have

Lofty, the ambitious from them falls short

فعليٌّ الحبرُ الكَريمُ وأَحمدٌ

ويَليهِ عبدُ القادِرِ المُسْتَوْجِلُ

So Ali the noble scholar, and Ahmad

Followed by Abdul Qadir the aspirant

وفَتى الحِمى رَجَبٌ أَبو الهِمَمِ التي

فيها دَلالٌ قدْ طَواهُ تَذَلُّلُ

And the protector’s knight Rajab, Abu Al-Himam, those

In whom clues manifest, humbled and surrendered

والجَنْدَلِيُّ محمَّدٌ وأَمينُهُمْ

وبصالِحُ خيلِ العِدى تَتَجَنْدَلُ

And Muhammad Al Jandali, their trustee

And with Salih the steeds of glory trot

وبنا أَبو البَرَكاتِ واحِدُ صفِّهِمْ

ويُقالُ فيه السَّيِّدُ المُتَوَكِّلُ

And from us Abu Al Barakaat, unique in his line

And is called the trusting master

شيخٌ ترَقْرَقَ بالمَعارِفِ باطِناً

وعليهِ سِيمَةُ جدِّهِ لا تُجْهَلُ

A shaykh gleaming with inner knowledge

Upon him the mantel of his grandfather is known

فبِبَيْتِهِ سيقومُ من أَسْرارِنا

فوقَ المِنَصَّةِ للحُقيقةِ مُحْفَلُ

So in his house from our secrets will stand

Above the pulpit for realities a circle

ويَجولُ منها للطَّريقَةِ في الوَرَى

منهُ هِزَبْرٌ وجهُهُ لا يُخْذَلُ

And from it for the path among mankind circulates

Through him a shining face that is not abandoned

يا حَيْرَةَ الحُسَّادِ إنَّ قُيودَهُمْ

ثَقُلَتْ ألا بالوهمِ فلْيَتَأَوَّلوا

Oh confusion of envious ones, their shackles

Have weighed heavy, but in delusion interpret

هذا الكَمالُ الأَحْمَدِيُّ تلامَعَتْ

أَنوارُهُ وجَلا هُداهُ الكُمَّلُ

This Ahmadi perfection has shone its lights

And its guidance most complete has unveiled

فاذْكُرْ حَديثاً جاءَ بالإِحْسانِ عن

خيرِ البَرِيَّةِ والمَحاسِنُ تُفعَلُ

So mention a hadith that came with kindness

From the best of creation, and virtues are enacted

واجْعَلْكَ عبداً مُحْسِناً فالنَّصُّ قدْ

وافَى صِراحاً إنَّما يَتَقَبَّلُ

And make yourself a benefactor, for the text directly

Has reached, only the benefactor is accepted

وانْظِمْ فُؤادَكَ يا بُنيَّ بسِلْكِنا

واسْمَعْ فذا داعي العِنايَةِ يَزْجَلُ

And attune your heart, my son, to our path

And listen, for the caller of care is announcing

فطَريقُنا معمورَةٌ وشُؤُنُنا

محفوظَةٌ وقُلوبُنا لا تُفْتَلُ

For our way is populated, our conditions guarded

And our hearts cannot be severed or split

وعلى سَمَواتِ المَعالي لم يزَلْ

لرِجالِ عُصْبَتِنا الكَريمَةِ منزِلُ

And in the heavens of sublimity, the abode

Of our generous men was never displaced

بالرَّحمَةِ العُظمى جَرَتْ قِيعانُنا

فالفيضُ يُمْطِرُ والعِنايَةُ تهطُلُ

Through greatest mercy our plains ran

So the downpour showers and care pours
