As if the palaces between strength and dignity

Are flocks of birds seeking water to drink

And I had feared that I would die before

The kinsmen of Amr stood amidst lamenting women

It cured my soul, or came close to curing it

Their toppling of him from a polished saddle

The neighing of the mares in their tents

Is the shrieking of the summit in the perforated leather bucket

Columns that are rewarded over every column

A banner like the shadow of the hovering bird
