أَنا أَبو ثَورٍ وَسيفي ذو النُّون

أَضرِبُهم ضَربَ غُلامٍ مجنون

I am Abuthawr whose sword is sharp,

I strike them with the blows of a crazed boy,

يالَ زُبَيد إِنهم يَموتون

Oh Zubayd, they will surely die.
