  1. I shall pardon you, and preserve what you have squandered

    of sacred bonds and old affection.

  2. And whether I am far away or near, there comes to you

    the peace of God, from a heart free of rancor.

  3. In my eyes, none censures people of virtue

    when they stumble, save the ignoble man.
