هدمت هدم البنيه

The structure of traditional rule

Was demolished, destroying the foundation

أخرب الجهال منها

كل ثغر وثنيه

Ignorance from it laid waste

To every fault and idol

وغدت دينة الحكم

بهم وهي دنيه

And the city of governance became,

Through them, base and degraded
