O Father of the Caliphate, and this description

Is made true by your radiant brow,

I have seen the dew of your lips, more dewy still

Than rainwater from the heavens on the healthy.

You refused the Companions' love of gifts

And clung to loving the People of the Cloak.

Your open hand scatters generosity,

While my allegiance is pledged to loving allegiance.
