I remembered you with a memory that does not forget
Nor does the heart of the one remembering dispute
I count again the days of wellness
So oh my heart's religion, what can be condemned?
Emotions disturb me since the day
My tears with them became abundant
And the passion refuses that I confide the passion
When the heart fills, the tongue overflows
And what good is an eye whose light is gone?
Or a right hand from which the fingers are cut off?
So oh trace of love! Where did you remain
When the one I loved became clearly seen?
And they said, "Be distracted with your peers"
So where is youth and where is time?
