1. By your good fortune, the stars moved in the sky;

    for your glory is renowned, and your fortune prevails.

  2. When Saif al-Din unsheathes the keen blade of his resolve,

    the sharp swords bend back in fear on the day of battle.

  3. So march on and conquer the world, which has become

    enamored of you in its eastern and western lands.

  4. For love of Abu Bakr ibn Ayyub submitted

    all mankind; Shiites and their foes became alike.

  5. The realm has in him a just ruler—what a just ruler!

    His marvels are renowned, and his bounties too.

  6. And I do hope from him for a master's compassion

    for the distress of a slave whom poverty strikes.

  7. So grant me a stipend each month, paid promptly;

    may the Lord of the Throne grant you what you seek.

  8. And may support and victory ever remain the two servants

    of your banner, so long as streamers are fastened to a spear.

  9. And may you ever be congratulated on manifest victory,

    your armies and battalions attaining their wishes.
