لاحَ في زَرْقائِها بَدْراً مُنِيراً

في سَماءٍ فَتَفَاءَلْ بِالطُّلُوعِ

A bright full moon appeared in her blueness

So be optimistic about the rising

وَبَدَتْ بَيضاؤُها فابيضَّ مِنها

طَرْفُ شَأْنٍ خَلْفَ مُحمَّرِ الدُّموعِ

And her whiteness appeared, so from it lightened

A condition's end behind reddened tears
