A peace like the breezes of morning has touched the meadows

With its hems, so the eyes of the flowers have awakened

And like silver narcissi their gazes have softened

Blinking tears of dew from their lids as they glisten

Kissing the cheek of the rose whose mouth in its bloom

Is fresh, and is moist from the tear of vitality

The whisperer has unveiled the secret of their love

For the whisperer keeps no veil on a secret

Pearls of dew have appeared on every flower

    Like a necklace adorning a maiden’s neck

And the orator of thunder stood between robes

Of black clouds, so their tears began flowing
