Spring arrived and was the fairest newcomer,
from the flowers’ procession—the fairest procession.
The trees arrayed themselves, out of their leaves,
in two robes, one silvered and one gilded.
Its two displays are like clothes racks; whenever you wish,
you may gaze upon a bough with short, branching forks.
Look at the beads strung above them,
and at dew from atop that, rounded into beads.
