O wearer of silk over silk

How good is cotton over cotton

You came toward me, swaying in it, so you

Unsheathed the sword of love to be swayed

    From ember to rubbed ember

Hurting us with roses and al-laz flowers

I feared nothing like my fear over

Your waist, from your fine garment

O treasure of beauty, I cannot do without

What is in the earth of treasure

Our comfort is in sweet manner, O

Our tired one with bitter manner
