أخذوا للسير أهبته

وأخذنا أهبةَ الكمَدِ

They prepared him for the journey

And we prepared the supplies

زعموا أن الفراق غداً

وفراق الروح بعد غد

They claimed that the separation is tomorrow

And the soul's separation is the day after tomorrow
