بشر بالصبح كوكب الصبح

فاضحى وجنح الدجى كلا جنح

Announce the dawn, morning star

Daybreak has arrived, and the wings of night have folded

فهو على الفجر كالسنان هوى

للعين كما هوى على رمح

It has descended on the dawn like a flashing sword

As it descended on a spear, pleasing to the eye
