1. سُوِّغَ بستانيَ البهاءَ فما

    قلتُ من القول فيه ينساغُ

    My orchard was adorned with beauty unsurpassed

    None can describe it but in words outclassed

  2. باغٌ من النَّور كل واحدةٍ

    فيه من النور وَحدَها باغ

    A garden of pure light each part aglow

    With heavenly brilliance to outshine the stars that show

  3. ألوان خيريِّهِ الملوَّن لا

    يعدلُ أصباغَهُن أصباغ

    Colors of goodness, a wondrous hue

    No dyer's skill could ever imbue

  4. خُرَّمُهُ أرؤسٌ مُتَوَّجَةٌ

    ما صاغ تيجانَهنَّ صَوَّاغ

    Fruit so sublime like crowned heads

    No jeweler could fashion their crowns and threads

  5. وإنما وَرْدُهُ الخدودُ له

    من ورقاتٍ عليه أصداغ

    Roses as cheeks, leaves gentle as skin

    As if etched by a lover's hand with care begin

  6. يُريغُ قلبي صنوفَ زينتِهِ

    فالطرفُ منه إليه روَّاغ

    My heart it ravishes with its every form

    My glances magnetized, to it transform

  7. من ذي اصفرارٍ تخاله حُللاً

    يصبغها للرياض صبَّاغ

    Of saffron robes it seems to don

    Dyed by nature's hand, unlike man's own

  8. وذي احمرارٍ كأَنه عَلَمٌ

    فيه سوادٌ كأنه داغ

    Crimson as flags that ebon ink did launch

    As piercing its hue as the blackest smudge

  9. فرغتُ للهو فيه يُسعِدني

    عليه مستهترون فُرّاغ

    Lost in its beauty, joy it did endue

    While heedless ones saw it as nothing new

  10. أربعةٌ كالصقور خامسُنا

    أسْوَدُ ملقى كأنه زاغ

    Four eagles midst, a raven black in their midst

    Perched as if to lunge, beware of its tryst

  11. يمجُّ سلسالةً يُسَلسِلُها

    مدغدغٌ للعقول لدّاغ

    A chain it proffers, corralling the mind

    Tempting senses, a captor unkind

  12. يديرُها ألثغٌ إذا لمعتْ

    قال هي النُّوغُ بل هي الناغ

    Wielded by a charmer, flashes spellbind

    Serpent or flute? None can define

  13. شمسٌ من الحسن لو يُسوِّغنا

    من يده السمَّ كان ينساغ

    A sun of beauty, if it would allow

    Its sweet venom would entice, I avow

  14. تنطقُ ألحاظه ومنطقها

    بلاغةٌ كلُّها وإِبلاغ

    Eyes that speak, their language beyond compare

    Eloquence embodied, truth laid bare

  15. أُسبِغَ كلُّ النعيم فيه ولا

    نعيمَ ما لم يَصِلْه إِسباغ

    All bliss suffuses its breadth and length

    No joy withheld, nothing spared in its strength
