والسُّحْبُ ينظمنَ فوقها سُبَحاً

نظامَ معنّةٍ بسبحتها

The clouds assemble above it a rosary

An order of concern for its prayer beads

فواقعٌ قد غدت بياذقةُ الش

طرنج صفّاً في وَسطِ رقعتها

So it has become meadows of joyful rain

Like rows of chess pieces at the center of its chessboard
