لامَني لائِمي وَرامَ مَجالا

بِاشتياقي لمرقد قَد تَلالا

No one blames me though I yearn

For his tomb on hills afar

لاحَ من نَحوه ضياء وَنور

لَو رَأى البَدر بَعضه لاستحالا

None shines from it light so bright

The full moon would be eclipsed

لا تَلُمني بِقَبر طَهَ فَإِني

مُغرَم بالَّذي بِطيبة حالا

Blame me not for loving Taha's grave

I'm besotted with one from Taibah of virtues infinite

لأن من زَفرتي الحَديد وَأَما

عاذِلي بِالَّذي أَروم فلالا

My sighs temper iron yet

My beloved faults me for pining after him still

لاتَ لَوم فَقُم لِنَسمع وَصفاً

لِرَفيع عَلى السَموات طالا

Chastise me not, let's extol

One exalted above the heavens for all time

لاحق السابقين لَم يَلحَقوه

حينَ إِذ فاتَهُم وَزادوا كلالا

The early believers couldn't catch up

When he left them wearied and distressed

لاصق البَطن بِالحِجارة زَهوا

وَعَفافاً وَرفعة وَكَمالا

Cleaved of belly to the ground in worship

Modesty, nobility and perfection complete

لازم حُبه عَلى كُل شَخص

وَموالاته لِغَيث تَوالى

His love cloaks all of mankind

His aid gushes forth in perpetuity

لاذ يا سَيد الوَرى بِكَ جان

عام في ذَنبه الطَويل وَجالا

Seek refuge, O master of men, through you

A supplicant drowned in sins beyond count

لائق مِنكَ أَن تَكون شَفيعاً

لِلَّذي في حِماك حَط رِحالا

You alone are fitting to intercede

For one who has parked his mounts in your sanctuary
