1. روض سقته من الوسمي أَمطار

    فَأَشرَقَت مِنهُ أَنوار وَنوار

    A garden watered by the rains of al-Wusmi

    From which lights and illuminations have shone

  2. تَنَوعَت فيهِ أَصناف المَحاسن إِذ

    تَخالَفَت مِنهُ أَوراد وأَزهار

    In it various kinds of beauties appeared when

    Its roses and flowers differed

  3. راقَت وَرَقت بِهِ ريح الصبا فَلذا

    تَرقرَقت وَأريقت مِنهُ أَنهار

    The breeze of morning blew upon it, so

    Its streams gurgled and flowed from it

  4. وَصفقت عذبات البان وَانخفضت

    كَأَنَّما هُن بَينَ الرَوض أَبكار

    The obedient ripples of pools clapped

    As if they were maidens among the garden

  5. وَنقط الطل أَوراق الغُصون بِهِ

    لِكُل واحدة مِنهُن دينار

    Dew dotted the leaves of branches in it

    For each of them a gold coin

  6. وَالتف بالبان قَيصوم الجنان ضحى

    كَأَنَّما هُوَ للقضبان زنار

    And the thickets of gardens embraced at dawn

    As if it were a necklace for the twigs

  7. وَالطَير يَهتف وَالشحرور منبسط

    وَالعَندَليب لَهُ رجع وَتكرار

    The birds chirp and the insects are outstretched

    And the nightingale repeats and reiterates

  8. وَالغُصن يَرقص وَالشادي يحركه

    كَأَنَّما هُوَ سنطير وَمزمار

    The branch dances and the wind stirs it

    As if it were a pipe and a flute

  9. وَالأَرض تضحك مِن سح الغمام بِها

    وَكَم لَهُ نعم فيها وَآثار

    And the land laughs from the rain pouring on it

    And how many favors it has on it and traces

  10. كَأَن نَعل رَسول اللَه مر بِها

    فَاخضر مِن مسه ريف وَأَمصار

    As if the slipper of the Messenger of God passed over it

    So its countryside and cities became green

  11. نعل بها قدم الهادي الأَمين ثَوَت

    فَفيه مِن قدم المُختار أَسرار

    The slipper in which the foot of the trustworthy guide settled

    So in it are the secrets of the feet of the Chosen

  12. نعل مَشَت في قباب العَرش وَارتفعت

    عَلى البساط بِذا جاءتك أَخبار

    A slipper that walked on the domes of the Throne and ascended

    To the Highest Company, so reports came to you

  13. مرغ بخدك تمثالاً لَها فَله

    فَضل كَما وَرَدَت في ذاكَ آثار

    Rub your cheek on it, for it is a statue for it

    So it has virtue as mentioned in those traces

  14. وَامسح جُفونك كيما تستضيء بِه

    فَإنما هُوَ للابصار ابصار

    And wipe your eyelids so that you may be illuminated by it

    For it is enlightenment for sights

  15. وَاذكر وَصل عَلى ذاك النَبي فَكَم

    بذكره غفرت للناس أَوزار

    And mention and send your peace upon that prophet, for how much

    Sins of people are forgiven by his mention

  16. الطاهر الفاخر الزاكي الكَريم وَمَن

    لأجله رفعت للقرب أستار

    The pure, splendid, righteous, generous, and whoever

    For his sake veils of nearness were lifted

  17. من مثله وَأَمين الوحي خادمه

    وَفي رَكائبه الأَملاك قَد ساروا

    Who is like him, the trusted bearer of revelation, his servant

    And in his litters angels travelled

  18. حَتّى دَنا قاب قَوسين الوصال فَفي

    دنوه أَنبياء اللَه قَد حاروا

    Until near a bow span was the union, so in

    His nearing the prophets of God were perplexed

  19. وَالعَرش أَشرَق مِن أَنوار غرته

    إِذ مِنهُ قَد سَطَعت في الكَون أَنوار

    And the Throne shone from the pride of his lights

    When from it lights shone throughout existence

  20. ناداه مَولاه أَهلاً بِالحَبيب فَطب

    قلباً فَإِنَك نعم الخل وَالجار

    His Master welcomed him saying, “Hello to the beloved, so good

    Hearted you are, for you are the best neighbor and companion."

  21. أَنتَ المشفع في يَوم المعاد إِذا

    قل النصير وَأَبدت حَرَها النار

    You are the intercessor on the Day of Judgment when

    The victors are few and the Fire bares its flames

  22. فَرد يرفل في ثَوب الوَقار وَفي

    فُؤاده مِن كنوز العلم أَوقار

    So he returned dressed in the garb of dignity and in

    His heart were treasures of knowledge and dignities

  23. وَانشق للمُصطفى البَدر التَمام كَما

    قَد حَدثتنا بِهَذا عَنهُ أَخيار

    And the full moon split for the Chosen one just as

    The best of us have narrated this story about him

  24. وَالظَبي وَالضب وَالأَشجار شاهدة

    عَلى نبوته وَالسُم وَالغار

    And the gazelle, the wolf, and the trees bear witness

    To his prophecy, the poison, and the cave

  25. وَسَل سراقة ماذا قَد رَأى وَكَفى

    فَخراً فَفي ذاكَ تَنويه وَإِنذار

    And Suraqa—what did he see? And enough

    Pride, so in that is notification and warning

  26. وَأعظم الكُل قرآن بِهِ قصص

    وَحكمة وَمَواعيظ وَأَخبار

    And greatest of all is the Quran in which are stories

    And wisdom, admonitions, and reports

  27. أَلفاظه كَعقود الدر ساطعة

    وَآيه لظلام الجَهل أَقمار

    Its words are like strands of pearls gleaming

    And its verses are moons for the darkness of ignorance

  28. رَقت مَعانيه إِذ دَقت لَطائفه

    فَأَمعَنَت فيهِ ألباب وَأَفكار

    Its meanings are gentle when its subtleties are delicate

    So minds and thoughts have pondered upon it

  29. كَفى بِهِ لأولي الأَلباب تبصرة

    أَن أَنصفوا وَبحكُم العَقل ما جاروا

    It is enough for people of intellect as insight

    That they be fair and judge with reason, not unjustly

  30. بِهِ هدى اللَه أَقواماً وَأَيدهُم

    فَأَصبَحوا وَعَلى المنهاج قَد ساروا

    With it God guided some people and supported them

    So they became guided and walked the straight path

  31. وَقَد أَضَل بِهِ قَوماً فَكَم لَهُم

    بَصائر قَد عَمت مِنهُ وَأَبصار

    And with it He led some people astray, so how many

    Visions they are deprived of and sights they are denied

  32. يا صاحب الوَحي وَالتَنزيل وَالشَرف الض

    ضخم الجَليل وَمَن طابَت بِهِ الدار

    O possessor of revelation and the descending and the tremendous

    Glory and the one in whom the house became good

  33. وَالسَيد العلم الفَرد الَّذي انتَقَلَت

    مِن وَجهِهِ لِجَميع الناس أَنوار

    And the master, the unique knowledge, the individual whom

    From his face lights have shone for all people

  34. المُصطَفى المجتَبى مِن كُل مُنتخب

    وَمَن نَمته إِلى العَلياء أطهار

    The chosen, the selected from all select

    And the one whose nature is the purest traits

  35. وَمَظهر الحَق وَالنهج القَويم وَمَن

    بشرعه كان للتَوحيد إِظهار

    The manifestation of truth, the straight path, and the one

    By whose law the declaration of Oneness appeared

  36. وَالصارع الصادق الصدق الصَفي وَمن

    صَفا فَصفي وَجلت مِنه أَقدار

    The honest combatant, the sincere, the pure, and the one

    Whose sincerity made him chosen and extolled by destiny

  37. أَغث فَقيراً دَعاكَ اليَوم مُنزَعِجاً

    عَلى غَواربه حمل وقنطار

    Help a poor man who calls upon you today troubled

    Bearing burdens of sins and enormous weights

  38. قَد عامَ في ذَنبه التَيار مِن صغر

    وَما له في اقتراف الوزر أَعذار

    The currents of youthful folly have acted in his sin

    And he has no excuse for perpetrating misdeeds

  39. وَقد عرته ديون لا يطيق لَها

    حملاً وَلا درهم مِنها وَدينار

    And debts have exposed him which he cannot bear

    Their burden and does not have a single dirham or dinar

  40. وَلاذَ بالحرم المَحمي نازله

    وَإِن أَلم بِهِ فَقر وَإعسار

    And he has sought refuge in the protected sanctuary

    Even if poverty and destitution have afflicted him

  41. فَامنع بِحَقك عَنهُ كُل مُعضلة

    فَإِن رَبك لِلأوزار غفار

    So prevent with your right every difficult issue from him

    For your Lord forgives sins

  42. صَلى عَليك صَلاة لا انقِطاع لَها

    ما صَفقت في حَواشي الرَوض أَشجار

    Blessings upon you, blessings that have no end

    As long as trees clap in the peripheries of the garden
