مَن سَرَّهُ الإِحسانُ مِنهُ وَساءَهُ

قَولُ الإِساءَةِ كانَ عَبداً مُؤمِناً

Whoever is pleased by kindness from him, and dislikes

Hearing words of abuse, was a faithful servant.

وَمَن اِرتَأى لِيَرى الهُدى مِن رَبِّهِ

بِكِتابِهِ أَلفاهُ فيهِ مُبَيِّناً

And whoever wanted guidance from his Lord to see,

Found it clarified for him in His Book.

وَمَن اِستَسَنَّ الرَفضَ لِلأَهوا

ءِ وَاِتَّبِعِ الإِمامَ الحَقَّ جانِبَهُ الخَنا

And whoever considered rejection of desires good,

And followed the Imam of truth, pierced his side with an arrow.
