شَمسانِ خالَهُما النَدامى أَربَعاً

جُلِيا مِنَ الساقي عَلى الجُلّاسِ

Two suns whose blemish regrets have made fourfold

Radiant from the cupbearer upon the seated company

شَمسُ الحُمَيّا وَالمُحَيّا أَشرَقا

فَتَقابَلا في خَدِّهِ وَالكاسِ

The sun of Humeyya and Muheyya did rise
