رُضِ النَفسَ بِالصَبرِ الجَميلِ عَلى الأَذى

يُنِلكَ الرِضى قاضٍ عَلَيكَ بِهِ قَضى

Be content with patience in the face of hurt

It will bring you the satisfaction of destiny's decree

وَلا تَحذَرِ المَوتَ الَّذي هُوَ مُخرِجٌ

لِنَفسِكَ مِن ضيقٍ إِلى سِعَةِ الفَضا

And do not fear death which delivers

Your soul from straitness into spaciousness
