يا مُلهِمي نَفسي الغَرامَ بِحُبِّمِم

حَتّى هَداها لِلهُدى إِلهامُها

O my inspirer, who inspired my soul with love for you

Until your inspiration guided it to true guidance

ما قامَ حُبُّكُم بِذاتي إِنَّما

ذاتي بِحُبِّكُمُ اِستَقامَ قِيامُها

It is not your love that gave my essence life

Rather it is through your love that my essence found purpose
