Tell those who claim the Maker of all things

Has no intentions save what He brings,

Who do you think when wanting to do ill

To a servant goes against his will?

Fear God, for this is surely untrue,

That He'd be displeased with what He wills to do.

And if not so, the act remains intact

For the servant, though his claim was false in fact.
