I tell Shādīn, unparalleled in beauty,
Who captures hearts with a glance of his eye:
"You possess all beauty in your form,
So do not refuse to exist just to avoid pain.
Rather be generous with your pleasing smile
And refreshing sweetness, like cold water.
But Abu Hanifa said: ‘For me, there is
No zakat due on a newborn child.’"
