The blessed one wept in the wake of Ibn Abbad
He wept over the trace of gazelles and lions
Its Pleiades wept, their stars not clouded
With the weeping of Pleiades, the passing wind
The lonely one wept, the thriving one wept, and his dome
The river and the crown, all their humility manifest
The rain of the sky over his sons is pearls
O sea foam forever with ebb and flow
