الصُبحُ قَد مَزَّقَ ثَوبَ الدُجى
فَمَزِّقِ الهَمَّ بِكَفي مَها
Morning has torn the garment of night
So tear away sorrow with your palms
خُذ باسمِها مِن ريقِها قَهوَةً
في لَون خَدّيها تُجَلّي الأَسى
Take coffee in her name from her saliva
In the color of her cheeks, grief finds glory
